The content, which was shared on the official pages of both Calico Coffee and The Freak Barista, captures hands-on barista training, showcasing the artistry of microfoam, clean pours, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of Calico’s specialty coffee space.
Lorenzo, known as The Freak Barista, is a latte artist from southern Italy now based in London. In under three years he’s trained with some of the world’s top latte artists, risen to the UK’s Top 5 Latte Art competitors, and built a reputation for teaching baristas how to master the fundamentals with confidence and creativity.
Calico Coffee is a specialty café based in London’s Lower Marsh, opened in 2025 with a simple mission — to pursue clarity “from origin to cup.” Known for its welcoming atmosphere and focus on craft, Calico hosts workshops, tastings, and community events that bring London’s coffee culture to life.
Produced a one-minute highlight reel for Calico Coffee’s “Latte Art Fundamentals” workshop, combining soundbites from @thefreakbarista and participants with visuals to capture the learning, energy, and atmosphere of the event.
Created a 15-second fast-cut reel set to upbeat music, tailored for Instagram and TikTok. The edit focuses on sharp visuals and quick pacing to maximise engagement, distilling the energy of the workshop into a short, shareable format optimised for social media reach.
